Hamworthy’s Sedinox system is highly flexible and can be installed at any angle. It has minimal spares requirement and has no added chemicals. Through innovative design and implementation of state of the art technology, the Sedimentor achieves high performance separation of sediments and biota. With second stage treatment through the Termanox, electrolysis ensures efficacy to a minimum standard of MEPC 53 requirements. Treatment is monitored and adjusted through the control panel, where ballast operations, including GPS position data, are recorded and stored for at least 24 month. With no moving parts and treatment on ballasting only, Hamworthy are confident of delivering a low maintenance and operating cost product to your vessel.
