SEAWATER DESALINATION The AQUA freshwater generator from Alfa Laval is a major leap forward in freshwater generation technology. Because it utilizes only half as much seawater as other freshwater generators, it requires only half the pump capacity and half the pumping energy. This is achieved through pioneering plate technology, in which the whole distillation process is handled in a single plate pack and with one type of titanium plate.
