ACO Marine has designed a new and wide range of multi-application, high performance stainless steel floor gullies. The ACO Marine EG150 range of gullies is designed to provide hygienic, quick, simple and economic trapped drainage solutions for washrooms, toilets, "wet" bathrooms, changing rooms, galleys, swimming pools, etc. All floor finishes, including all cement and resin screeds, ceramic tiles, flexible vinyl sheet in solid and suspended flooring applications are catered for. manufactured from austenitic 304 grade stainless steel as standard: excellent corrosion resistance is guaranteed. Optional 316 grade stainless steel for aggressive applications is available in all gullies. Additonal features include compact design, removable in-line foul air trap is fitted as standard, with a choice of vertical or horizontal spigot outlets, telescopic height adjustment and full rotational adjustment for tiles, wall or equipment alignment. Optional side inlet facilities are provided to fit the hand basin and the condensation waste pipes.

With the Uson Multi Chamber Compactor it is possible to separate and compact several different waste fractions in one machine. The compactors are tailor-made to suit the customer’s need with everything from 2 to 8 chambers; the general waste is compacted in plastic bags, plastic film and cardboard are baled and tins & cans are compacted. All this is done in one machine, but in separate compartments. The UMCC is electromechanical and specially designed for marine applications, so it will work even if the ship is rolling. Our compactors are designed for demanding marine conditions and fulfil marine and offshore standards. The units have ‘Verification Reports’ issued by DNV Maritime.

DRY WASTE SYSTEMS
Uson Marine’s systems for dry solid waste include marine compactors and baling presses, shredders and crushers. These can reduce the volume of ship-generated waste by approximately 80% (depending on the fraction). The complete dry waste system will assist the crew in collecting, sorting, treating and storing the waste onboard and help them to comply with regulations worldwide. The treated waste is transported onshore for recycling or incineration with possible energy recovery. All waste management systems offered by Uson Marine are designed for demanding marine conditions and fulfil marine and offshore standards.
FOOD WASTE SYSTEMS
The Uson one-way macerator system is designed for hygienic transportation and treatment of food waste in compliance with IMO Marpol 73/78 Annex V, US Coast Guard and other relevant regulations and standards. Food waste is grinded by local macerators in the galley and transported by vacuum to a special holding tank, which is designed for food waste. The system safely handles food waste and is easy to install, with low water consumption, small pipe diameter and flexible pipe routing. Food waste is not defined as ‘sewage’ and should not be mixed with either black water or grey water.
