Stern-tube bearings Cedervall sterntube bearings - are made of highest quality steel, cast iron or heavy duty ductile iron with centrifugally lined lead or tin based white metal. Cedervall sterntube bearings can be supplied in standard sizes or to customer specification. The bearings can be machined for temperature sensors and a wide range of sensor types can be supplied as option. Stern-tubes Standard Cedervall design features safe and easy mounting. Offered for any shaft diameter and length, having white metal bearings pre- mounted. The bearings can be machined for temperature sensors, supplied as an option. Sealing devices for expoy resin mounting can also be supplied as an option. The sterntube can be made according to customer specification or in Cedervall standard version. Intermadiatd shaft bearings Cedervall intermediate shaft bearings are made of highest quality cast iron with tin or lead based white metal. The bearings can be supplied with bottom and top bearing bowls or with bottom bowl only. The bearings are self- lubricating and self aligning and prepared for water-cooling. The bearings are supplied with oil level gauge and thermometer as standard. Temperature sensor can be supplied as option.
