CONTROL LEVERS

Lilaas has a range of MMIs, control levers and joysticks. They are one of the major actors within the fields of these products worldwide. The products are used on all kinds of vessels securing high precision control of the ship, the navigation system, the crane and the winches.

ELECTRONIC SHAFT SYSTEM

AESS (Electronic Shaft System) is developed by Lilaas AS.
The Electronic Shaft System is a network system for up to 8 control lever positions and up to 4 propulsion engines in one redundant network. Each control lever is a node in a network and consists of one control lever with servo systems and an electronic unit.

The system administrates the master position selection, slave positions and fault detection. The network is based on the CAN bus standard (Controller Area Network.) The CAN bus is a well proven standard originally designed for vehicles.

Due to its simplicity and operability in harsh environment this standard is used in a wide range of applications, such as industrial, medical and nautical. The network in AESS is dual redundant with two physical separated buses. This electronic shaft system is very flexible, and can be used in a wide range of applications with our control units

PRECISION MECHANICS

Lilaas AS manufacture precision mechanics, details, assembled units and system solutions. The company is well known as a creative partner for ideas and problem solutions on different fields. Our highly skilled workers manage 15 CNC-controlled machines. 

The limit of tolerance is 0,004 mm, using among other machines, Mazak Integrex 200 for optimum complete machining and Kitamura H300SL with 200 tools and 40 palettes.

Our production is based on our own or customer documentation, and is highly effective, with general integration between machinery, CAD and CAM software.
