OIL PROTECTION

Foilex portable Mini and Micro Skimmers are suction skimmers without an onboard pump and is available in two different versions.

Fixed Mini Well Skimmer3-pontoon Mini Skimmer
•Mini & Micro Skimmer, free floating 3-pontoon skimmer. 
•Mini & Micro Well Skimmer, skimmer head for fixed installations in ships or tanks.
 
Area of operation for the 3-pontoon Skimmers are small to medium size oil spills in harbors, rivers and lakes where there is a need for small portable recovery units. The well skimmers are used mainly for fixed installations in oil collectors and industrial separation.

Both units must be used in combination with an external vacuum pump with suction capacities from 5-30 m³/h.

POWERPACKS

Foilex Hydraulic Powerpacks are specially designed in 20 - 45 kW power range to operate all of Foilex TDS Skimmers and TDS Pumps. Both diesel driven, (DH) and electrically driven, (EH) versions are available with various start motor options.

•DH Powerpacks
 Diesel driven self contained hydraulic power units.

•EH Powerpacks
 Electrically driven hydraulic power units. 

 The DH/EH Powerpacks are compact designed within a strong stainless steel frame equipped with lifting eyes and forklift pockets. Screen doors provide good ventilation and easy access to service points.

PUMPS

Foilex submersible TDS Pumps are manufactured in two different versions. Both are based on the patented "Twin Disc Screw" Technology developed by Foilex in 1990 resulting in up to 70% higher capacity than traditional screw pumps.

•TDS Off-loading Pumps
 Inlet at pump base to reach close to tank bottoms. Vertical discharge parallel to hydraulic hoses. 
•TDS Skimmer Pumps
 Inlet at motor end with large exposed screw area and cutting knives for handling of high viscous products. 

The TDS Pumps are hydraulically driven, powered by Foilex Hydraulic Powerpacks or available ships hydraulics. Foilex also provide suitable Hose Packages for connection of the Pumps and Powerpacks.
 
Area of operation for the TDS Pumps are off-loading or transfer pumping of high viscous products such as crude oil, bunker oil and emulsions.

They are all portable and easy to use but also suited for fixed installations in various types of oil combating vessels or skimmer systems
