CABINETS

LONG LIFE SPAN:
Vestnes Produkt AS workshop cabinets are specially adapted to be used on-board ships and offshore. We have developed the cabinets in cooperation with users from ships and offshore installations. This has resulted in a high-quality product with exceptionally good utility value. The use of thick electrolytically galvanized panels means the cabinets have a very long life span. The cabinets can also be produces in acid-proof stainless steel.

PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS
Our cabinets are made from 1.25 mm thick panels, giving a high-quality finish. The sides, back, shelves and door frames are screwed together to ensure good stability and prevent rattling. The doors on our biggest cabinets have threepoint fastenings. The doors are assembled in an all-welded frame to prevent dust from getting in. The cabinets can be delivered without doors and with open shelves, which have a front lip to prevent objects falling out. The drawer shelves have a spot-welded lining and come withdrawer stops. All our models are made of electrolytically galvanized panels, have strengthened bases and are powder coated in colour RAL 9002 (light grey)

FITTING
The cabinets can be delivered pre-assembled by the manufacturer or in kit-form for the customer to assemble on board. A fitter form Vestnes is also available if required. All our cabinets come with assembly instructions. There are 12 standard layouts, but the cabinets can be installed as you wish. If you require internal fittings made to measure, we are happy to help.

FLOOR COVERING

Vestnes Ocean is the exclusive agent of STREAMO marine flooring range from Gerflor for the Norwegian maritime market.

Gerflor creates, manufactures and markets innovative, design-led and eco-responsible solutions for flooring and complementary interior finishes. Gerflor is specifically developing new ranges for the maritime industry and has also certificates to deliver for both ships and offshore installations.

Together with Vestnes Ocean`s Willy furniture, STREAMO floorings create a tasteful combination of colours and give an exclusive impression. Gerflor was actually the company that invented the homogeneous floorings in 1937. After this it has been a continuous development of new products and designs.

STREAMO collection for maritime market also offers a complete solutions of handrails, pvc skirtings and pvc stair nosings. The floor convering offer consists of wooden imitation

WILLY FURNITURE LINE:
Together with the designers Ralston & Bau, we developed the Willy furniture line as we felt there was no furniture on the market that is especially made for the purpose to be installed in a ship. This environment requires furniture that has several functions in addition to look good and be modern. Together with designer, seamen and outfitters we came up with Willy. New maritime furniture collection called “Willy”, inspired by the round shapes of the killer whale. Some of the most important in the design work was to find solutions that are flexible and simple to adapt to customers needs and wishes. Willy Maritime Furniture Collection is module based, this means it’s easy to assemble and to fit to the environment onboard. This ensures lower man-hours in the outfitting.
