Sale of copyrights for Maritime Yearbooks

Selvig Publishing AS hereby announce that the tree maritime publications "Yearbook of Scandinavian Ship Owners", "Where to Build - Where to Repair" and "Norwegian Offshore Index" as well as the Internet Portals www.seadirectory.com and www.offshore-index.no recently were sold to IMI AS (Institute of Mercantile Information) in Sandefjord (Norway). Signing of the agreement and formal transfer of publishing rights took place in July. IMI will from this date be in charge of sales, updates and new editions.

Selvig Publishing AS strongly believes we have found the right buyer with necessary market knowledge and competence to continue a long tradition of maritime publications started by Mr. Per Selvig in 1936.

IMI already publish "Skipsfartens Innkjøpsbok" (Prefered Makers List) and the Internet Portal www.maritime-suppliers.com with relevant information regarding maritime suppliers and all types of ship equipment. The addition of our well introduced Yearbooks and Internet Portals will strengthen IMI's organization and secure a platform for development of new products to meet a demanding market.
