Reconditioning

RECONDITIONING OF ENGINE COMPONENTS  Berthing facility N° 2600  Single Lift Capacity 3500 Ton  We offer reconditioning of main- and auxiliary engine components such as : Piston Crowns, Exhaust Valve Spindles, Exhaust Valve Seats, Cylinder Covers, but not restricted to. For your guidance, our method of reconditioning is in accordance with engine builder‘s specification. 

Reconditioning of Piston Crowns:  Cleaning and grit blasting for inspection and determination of desired repair method.  Machining of burnt/damaged areas.  Full welding of grooves area/outside diameter by submerged arc-welding machine. Welding of top crown if necessary.  Stress relieving.  Machining of outside area, groove area and top of the crown.  Double hard-chrome plating of the ring grooves.  Hydrostatic test and final inspection.

We supply pipe systems to a number of types of facilities for both industry and offshore. It is everything from process pipes to the chemical industry, or pipe system to complete RSW systems on board ships or land-based industry.

We are helpful with everything from design and engineering to production and assembly. We can supply complete systems with necessary equipment such as valves and sensors. We can also adapt the pipe system to existing equipment.

The choice of plastic material for pipe system means fast installation time and low maintenance. When installed correctly, a thermoplastic pipe system has a service life of up to 100 years. This makes plastic an affordable and safe alternative to more traditional materials such as steel.
