Managing construction and operation of offshore assets is very much a matter of managing personnel. During planning of personnel transfer, the complex challenge requires a detailed understanding of assignments, manifests, personnel certifications and vessel schedules.

Vissim Offshore Energy Manager is a web-based database and platform that is employed to manage personnel and vessel certification (see: Vissim Compliance Module). It is also used to manage manifest planning operationally and track personnel location in real time (see: Vissim Logistics Module).

This application enables much of the traditional workload of marine coordination to be easily distributed to contractors, thereby increasing transparency and minimising duplication while maintaining data control and security. By capturing locations, times and tasks, a powerful range of reports and data analytics can be generated.

 REQUEST DATA SHEET  All individuals intending to work on an offshore construction project are required to create their own profiles. After signing up online and completing a personal profile, an individual can log in and upload additional information if necessary. Administrators can also create new profiles, update existing profiles and certificates, and generate reports to get the most out of the systems.

The software can be accessed using a wide range of web browsers and is HTML5-based, enabling a range of devices to access it. The software is compatible with: Apple iOS, Android, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox.
