Maritim Motor AS was founded in 1995 at Solstrand's premises. In 2010, we moved into a new building at Trohaugen 25 on Vik in Tomrefjord to expand our capacity. 

In 2020, we will move again due to the need for more space, new premises were ready April 2020 at Trohaugen 7. As of August 2020, we are 32 employees working towards the shipyard, the ferry industry, offshore and the fishing boat / wellboat fleet. 

Performs all of the assembly repair in repair, new construction, as well as service and maintenance on Yanmar Large Engines and Mitsubishi Diesel and Gas engines around the world. We are one of the country's largest in Mitsubishi Gas and Diesel Marine and are the main supplier for SKF Vibracon. 

We place great emphasis on flexibility and good service, and our workers have high competence in laser alignment, installation of propellers, gear HVM and shaft lines. 

In 2014, we became SKF Certified Service Provider and Achilles JQS Qualified. 

We entered into a partnership with Yanmar Europe in 2015 as Large Engines Service partners and parts supplier. Accumulated a large warehouse with parts for all the engines. We provide all of Yanmar World Wide ink service and maintenance. 

Has built up great expertise in Yanmar Medium Speed and Mitsubishi Marine and gas.
