AXTech develops, designs, delivers, tests, commissions and carries out service on heavy lifting and material handling equipment for use in harsh and corrosive marine environments.

AXTech was founded in 2004 by senior engineers with vast experience in marine and offshore lifting equipment from Hydralift, AKTRO, TTS and National Oilwell. In 2008 we joined forces with winch manufacturer SAS Gouda (NL), which became a part owner of AXTech. SAS Gouda was later acquired by Royal IHC (NL). Today AXTech is a well-established company with strong local ownership and good international connections. Two thirds of AXTech are still owned by the engineers establishing the company. The remaining third are owned by Royal IHC.

AXTech is an efficient, dynamic company committed to achieving personal and organizational progress through excellence. Our engineers have broad experience from all relevant disciplines in marine and offshore engineering. Being a small and efficient organization, we are in a position to make fast decisions to the benefit of our clients and their projects.

Our main office is based in Molde, on the northwest coast of Norway, close to the country’s large oil and gas fields.  We are a part of the large marine and offshore engineering cluster in the Kristiansund, Molde and Aalesund area. In addition to our Norwegian offices, AXTech have two subsidiaries in Poland. AXTech Polska, located in Gdynia, and Clue Engineering, located in Kluczbork.
