Moltech Norway AS was established in Bergen in 1979 by John Molnes.

Since the early start in 1979 we have been fortunate enough to see a steady increase in demand for our range of marine electronics. By focusing on what we know best, fish finding equipment has been at the core of our business since the start, and will continue to hold that position. However, we have recently seen that shipping and offshore have become important areas for growth.

In 198 Moltech became distributo for th Kaijo product range in Scandinavia. Since our cooperation with Kaijo went well, the distribution rights soon expanded to include the rest of Europe and Russia. These products have since been our core business. Today the two brands "Sonic Kaijo Denki" and "Moltech" are closely associated in the consciousness of professional fishermen throughout Europe and Russia Othe important brands which need mentionin are SODENA and FTI Flow Technology. SODENA are well known for their high quality navigational systems, while FTI Flow Technology produc the Fusion flow meter. We have the distribution for SODENA in Norway, and for FTI we also cover Iceland.

President of Moltech, Trond Hveding, has an engineering background, and joined our company back i 1981. He has also been valuable for Kaijo with regards to product development and innovation. Other key employees are Jarle Hatlen and Frank Heggelund. Both are experienced engineers within service and installation of a broad range of marine electronics.Jarle Hatlen is now working as Sales Engineer Moltec can offer flexible solution for all electronics on you bridge, regardless of vessel size. To serve your needs best we offer professional marine electronics from most of th reputable brands in the market You will find our main office in Aalesund. In addition we have experienced distributors of the Kaijo product range in Norway and most European countries.
