Elteco AS works closely with automation and system suppliers and shipyards. We represent suppliers such as Selco, Valcom, IME, Bender and FSG, which have components specially adapted to this market.

For a number of years, Elteco has supplied automatic systems for earth fault and insulation monitoring to offshore installations and ship boards. Valcom specializes in printing, Selco specializes in generator control and arc monitoring, IME in converters and measuring transformers, and FSG specializes in feedback solutions.

Isolation and earth fault monitoring is becoming more and more important in ship and offshore contexts. Interruption and shutdown of production due to insulation and earth faults is not desired, and it is very expensive. Therefore, the serious oil companies, shipowners and automation and system suppliers use Bender to monitor the boards and control systems. They then receive an early indication of where the fault is, and then plan a controlled shutdown and repair of the fault.

Valcom is a manufacturer of pressure measuring instruments. Be it pressure measurement of liquids in tanks, wells or in the process. Here we supply pressure transmitters for level measurement of ballast / service / mud / brine / draft on ships. For offshore, we supply for pressure measurement to modules in the process.

Selco has been supplying generator control and control systems to the shipping industry for a number of years. They also have associated generator start panels and alarm panels. In recent times, arc monitoring of the distribution boards has also become more and more relevant. We supply Arc Detecting - system to prevent large arcs and which counteracts the destruction of electrical panels.
