Drahtseilwerk GmbH had its origins as a rope works. In 1934 the Wilhelm von Hofe
company took over the factory at the mouth of the river Weser. The first products of
the wire rope works were towing and mooring ropes for ships and trawl warps for
the fishing fleets.

From the very beginning wire ropes from Drahtseilwerk were synonymous with
quality. Our gaol since 1934 has been to deliver the highest possible quality. This,
combined with reliable delivery, guarantees customer satisfaction.
