Frank Mohn AS is the leading supplier of submerged cargo pumps to the world tanker market. The company was founded in 1938 and is located outside Bergen in Western Norway. 

The submerged cargo pump was developed by Frank Mohn AS in close cooperation with the chemical tankers operators during the sixties. Continous dialogue with our customers has determined the criteria for our research and development activities. The result has been a cargo pumping system that satisfies requirements for safe and profitable cargo handling, efficient stripping and tank cleaning, and that meets all new international rules and regulations.

FRAMO cargo pumps are supplied with individual capacities of between 50 and 2,000 m3/h and total discharge rates up to 15,000 m3/h. Our pumping systems are installed on board barges, chemical carriers, product tankers and large crude and OBO carriers.

A FRAMO cargo pumping system includes professional assistance during project evaluation, technical support during engineering and supervision of installation and testing. A world-wide service organization takes care of training, technical services, spare parts and repairs.

The Frank Mohn AS range of products also includes transportable pumping systems, oil-recovery equipment, anti-healing systems and offshore pumping systems. All of our products are manufactured in Norway.
