Bertel O. Steen Power Solutions (BOS Power) is the Nordic importer and distributor of mtu products from Rolls-Royce Power Systems. BOS Power supplies propulsion systems and marine power systems, integrated power generation systems and industrial engines for the C&I market with a focus on quality and reliability.

Main business

The company serves professional customer in the Commercial Marine, Power Generation and Industrial segments.

In the Commercial Marine segment the company supplies, integrates and offers lifecycle support of diesel-mechanical and diesel-electric propulsion systems, as well as battery electric or hybrid propulsion solutions.  

In the Power Generation segment the company designs, supplies, integrates and supports emergency power systems including containerized solutions, portable power systems and energy storage systems for applications such as critical infrastructure, data centers, industrial sites and power utilities.

The company’s extensive service offering secures high uptime operation of our customers’ systems. Engine workshops across the entire region for overhaul and refurbishment and an extensive spare part stock combined with a large team of mobile multi-discipline technicians, secure fast and reliable support on our customer’s mission critical power systems.

Locations

BOS Power is located in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark with offices, workshops and storage premises. In Bergen - Norway, where the headquarter is located, the company has a modern mtu certified training centre covering the engines and control systems. 

MTU Distributor

The company has since 1969 been the Norwegian distributor of mtu products and solutions from Rolls-Royce, and since 2020 the sole authorized distributor for the brand MTU for all countries in the Nordic. In addition to mtu products and solutions, Bertel O. Steen Power Solutions offers a wide range of products from leading suppliers integrated in complete solutions for the customers.
