MOTEC ‘ Marine and Offshore Technology ‘ is the name of our Antwerp based Technical office, offering services to the shipping and offshore industry:
Le Havre- Hamburg range.

A network of companies has been set up in Antwerp , each of them specialists in their field and two workshops one located on the left bank and one on the right bank of the river Scheldt are at your disposition. 

This means that we can handle almost every problem in shipping and offshore technology in the above mentioned range. This goes from urgent shiprepairs, mechanical, steel or pipe work, including cold stitching, up to delivery of spare parts ‘genuine or reconditioned‘ for e.g. heat exchangers, separators, oily water separators of the newest type, Biological sewage treatment BST, condensers, pumps and general filtration. We are also agent for Deckma 15 ppm monitors of which we have always complete uptodate units plus repair parts in stock. 

Test of life saving appliances, free fall and classic lifeboat, cargo gear. Also repairs of lifeboats are included in our tender. All by skilled people. On top of this, voyage repairs by technicians or fitters joining the vessel can be arranged. 

Also hydraulic, electric and electronic problems, fire fighting inspections can be taken care of by our specialists. Of course this means a 24 hours service, 7 days a week. 

Free lance superintendency for handling or follow up of important problems or repairs is also part of our activities. This can be extended to the complete package of dry dock inspections and repairs, from the preparation of tenders, communication with repair yards, classification societies, owners representation on the shipyards until the completion of the repairs. 

Finally we have also the capability to organise construction of steel sections for newbuildings at very economical prices.
