ACOUSTIC INSULATION WORK

The Lambda A sound reduction system is designed to provide noise-protection to an area, and can be delivered as an acoustic curtains and installation system, as well as acoustic cassettes fitted on a scaffolding frame.

Lambda A - Acoustic insulation can also be delivered as flexible jackets and boxes for valves, flanges, pipes, pumps or other equipment to reduce noise to an acceptable level in a process environment.

The reduction effect for the sound curtain is up to 20 dB in high frequency environment, and has been tested and approved according to NORSOK classes 6 and 7. Acoustic tests have also been carried out to C1 for both boxes and jackets at Peutz Laboratories, including combination classes (e.g. thermal and acoustic, fire and acoustic).

We have tested and documented acoustic insulation to C1 of piping with 40mm Aerogel and Acoustic barrier – the slimmest solution tested.

FIRE JACKETS

Lambda F Flex Jacket is a flexible system designed to protect vessels, pipelines, valves, flanges, actuators, control lines and boxes. It is fully tested to meet the most rigorous on- and offshore specifications for oil and gas installations.

THERMAL INSULATION WORK

The Lambda T - Thermal insulation is used as both Thermal protection, Acoustic protection and Personnel protection. This is a multi-purpose product that can apply to classes 1, 4 and 6, 7 and 8 according to NORSOK standard. The solution is applicable in different production environments such as process industry, power plants, marine industry, and oil & gas.

Our thermal insulation systems are tailor-made, and are delivered as flexible jackets or boxes in stainless steel. Insulation material and thickness will vary with the requirements. 

All seams in our flexible products are sewn with Kevlar reinforced stainless steel thread and sealed with silicone. The outer silicone coated fabric has no penetrations that could cause water ingress.

All Lambda products are designed for quick and easy removal and re-installation with the use of minimum personnel, personal protection equipment and tooling.
