EVACUATION SYSTEMS

Survitec Norway AS offers a variety of Marine Evacuation Systems (MES) which are well suited for all type of passenger vessels.
. The KOPAS V system, which is intended for use on board catamarans and double ended ferries, consists of a telescopic aluminium gangway with a build in raft. The system is fully automated and released from the bridge and require no crewmembers for release and operation.
. The KOPAS V-AL system, is similar to and based on the same principles as the KOPAS V system, but intended for use on board HSC catamarans. 
. The BRUDE MES Chute system is used for evacuation in heights from 3 - 26 m and is suitable for vessel like ROPAX, double ended ferries, cruise vessels and large passenger ships and special purpose vessels. The Brude MES station capacity is from 65-450 pax with the use of one chute and 900 pax with the use of a two chutes configuration in one MES station. All operations regarding manning of the system is manual and can be carried out by two crew members.
. The BRUDE MES slide systems uses the same liferafts as the other MES systems and are suitable in evacuation heights from 1,5 to 3 meters. The slide system is used on HSC catamarans and double ended ferries.
. All systems are tested in accordance with all relevant requirements under the supervision of See Berufs Genossenshaft (SBG) as the notifying body, and consequently all systems are EC-type approved. 
. Survitec Norway AS also offers a raft replacement system that ensures continuous and uninterrupted vessel operation.

Brude MES Offshore:
The Brude MES Offshore is a Marine Evacuation System specially designed for Offshore installations and FPSO’s and with evacuation heights of up to 50 meters. The system is designed around the system container and includes a fire retardant chute, launching and recovery system and associated life rafts. 
The Brude MES Offshore is designed on the same principles as the Brude MES where simple and reliable operation is the key design criterion.
