DOCKING EQUIPMENT
FastDocking™ docking equipment is a set of docking solutions, ensuring great efficiency at the shipyard. Lead times, and therefore the number of ship repairs, is significantly improved. Syncrolift AS is continuously developing smarter solutions to improve the productivity and speed of operations. An example is blocking solutions. The blocking wood used for stabilizing a ship is not a value gain from a shipowner’s point of view. It is possible to source solutions that avoid these costs, and Syncrolift has several options available. The Propeller Puller is another example of a bulky, hard-to-handle operation. The Syncrolift Propeller Puller is custom designed to quickly and efficiently handle propellers/shafts/rudder. The efficiency of docking, launching and repair operations of ships is influenced by which solutions are used.

SHIPLIFT
Syncrolift AS supplies two types of shiplifts, a traditional Rigid Platform and an Articulated Platform. Both are essentially a large elevator consisting of a structural steel platform, a selected number of electrically powered wire rope hoists to raise and lower the platform, and a central electrical motor control center to operate the system. Syncrolift® shiplifts are not only used for the safe retrieval and launching of ships, but also for launching concrete caissons, offshore structures and wind farm equipment.

TRANSFER SYSTEM
The Ship Rail Transfer System is designed to transport ships between a ship lift and dry berth on land. The transfer system is a robust, easy-to-operate system that requires little maintenance. It can be submerged and stored outdoors without damage or adverse effects. The Rail Transfer System runs on rails and can move both in lateral and transverse directions. The transfer system will move the vessel on a fluid bed with full control over the forces to the hull and the wheel loads. The system consists of a number of transfer trolleys, each with lifting capacity up to 350 tons. •The transfer system operates on one level •No pit required •Flush rails will allow for cross traffic all over the yard
