COLD CUTTING

Remote controlled and efficient cold cutting with a high focus on HSE friendly solutions that provide a better working environment for employees and at the same time potential cost and time savings. Because we have the expertise and equipment for all methods, we can recommend and use the one that best suits your challenge. Regardless of whether it is Abrasive (Water / Sand) Cutting, Diamond Wire Cutting, Mechanical Cutting - or a combination of these.

HOT BOLTING

IKM Testing offers efficient and cost-reducing replacement of bolts with patented Hot Bolting Clamp ™. Damaged bolts pose a high safety risk. Using new technology, we restore the integrity of the pipe system during normal operation in a safe way. Several years were spent testing with Equinor before this method was approved. The method is currently used by several other Norwegian Operators and provides large savings (a key figure is 1:30 in value creation).

ICE PLUGGING

Ice plugging is a method of creating a safe temporary barrier in a pipe system. The use of ice plugs as a barrier means that maintenance and modification work can be carried out without full shutdown of the systems, with consequent loss of production, or that it becomes necessary to implement costly and time-consuming compensatory measures.

MECHANICAL COMPLETION

IKM Testing is a complete service provider within mechanical completion of pipe and process equipment. Our personnel have extensive experience and solid multidisciplinary expertise. We have a large equipment park to serve the customer's needs.

ON-SITE MACHINING

On-Site machining is performed where the challenge arises, without the objects having to be sent to a machining workshop. With more than 20 years of experience, we have the equipment, expertise and understanding of challenges that arise - both planned and unexpected.

PIPE INSPECTION

IKM Testing performs internal visual inspection of pipes, ventilation ducts, drainage systems, water pipes, heat exchangers, sprinkler systems, valves, risers, process systems and other critical equipment. All inspections can be documented with photos, film and PC based file processing. The equipment can be equipped with positioning equipment for location. Extra light available for inspection of tanks / larger chambers and centering equipment adapted to the inspection object. IKM Testing adapts the inspection equipment according to the nature of the assignment and the customer's wishes.

PIPELINE SERVICES

IKM Testing performs all services related to completion, preparation and start-up of new pipe systems. We also provide maintenance services of existing pipe and pressure systems, as well as services in connection with the removal of pipe systems. In all phases of a field development, we can provide a wide range of engineering services, pumping services and cleaning services.

PUMPING SERVICES

IKM Testing has extensive experience with pumping services towards well support. Our personnel have solid experience with this type of service, from onshore engineering to offshore execution. We perform pumping services from both rigs and vessels. Equipment is in accordance with current requirements and standards on the Norwegian shelf.

TESTING / OIL FLUSHING

IKM Testing performs pressure testing and certification of purity in hydraulic systems, lubricating oil systems, BOP systems, umbilicals / umbilicals and other tubing / pipe systems with purity requirements.
