ANCHOR HANDLING SYSTEMS

The anchorhandling / towing- winches are flexible configuration and be delivered both as single and double drum configuration. They are designed for high power constant tension operation with large rendering speeds.

It can be delivered combined with chain gypsy.

The pull capacity up to 500 tons pull. The units can be delivered with static and dynamic tension monitoring system.

Winches can be delivered with our patented emergency release system for chain.

CARGO RAIL CRANES

We manufacture deck cranes for offshore support vessels . The cranes can be fix MOB cranes or cargorail cranes. The hydraulically driven deck cranes with capacity up to 30tons at 20m.

The cranes is delivered both with monobox, knockle or telescopic jib type. Typical operated by remote control system.
The cranes can be delivered with special tools, traction blocks,.. The cranes can be delivered with compensation (passive compensator or active heave compensation)

The A-frames can be delivered with integrated winches and powerpack.

FISH PUMPS

We have manufactured Karm Fishpumps for 33 years. Today, our most sold fishing vessel product, are fishpumps.

There are now 450 fishingvessels worldwide, using our pumps.

The new generation Karm fishpumps have very good human consumption performances. This delivery can consist, hose reels, fishpumps, powerpack , fish hose and fish/water seperator.

KARM FORKS

Karm Fork and Towing Pin Systems

These systems are used for anchorhandling operations.
The systems can be delivered with different configurations with size and numbers of pins. The systems is delivered in different sizes. The systems can be used for different sizes of chain rope.

The systems are controlled from wheelhouse panel and deck slave panel.

Net Hauling Winches
We produce the Karm Tristar range of nethaulers.

Netstackes are delivered with netroller and winch.

The Tristar nethauler is produced in three sizes:

Riser Pull In Systems
Karmøy Winch developed a patented riser pull in system.
This system consist of a pull in winch and a movable sheave tower.

Mooring Winches

WIRE BLOCKS

Wire Blocks

We manufacture a wide range of trawl blocks, purse seine blocks and wire sheaves.

We deliver wire blocks and wire sheaves for fishing vessels.

The product range consists of trawlblocks, purseseinene block, "Africa"-blocks, wire sheaves and fairleads.

We design and manufacture special blocks and fairleads for special applications.
The blocks are designed for: long life time, reduce damage on wire, high rotation efficiency, easy maintenance. The sheave are equipped with High Quality roller bearings. The roller bearings increase the rolling efficiency for the sheave. The sheave bolt is of stainless steel. The lubrication system for the sheave is special design for long life time and easy maintenance in a marine environment.

The the standard blocks can be delivered with three different types of round eye, fork eye, oval eye.The hangup can be delivered with bronze bearings or roller bearings.

The wireblocks are delivered tested and with certificate that fulfils the requirements of the Norwegian Maritime Directorate.

Upon customer requirements can the blocks be deliver with other certificates.
The block is delivered standard sandblasted, metalized and with 2 layer paint.
