CONTROL SYSTEMS
Application Scanmatic carries out the assembly and testing of a wide range of control systems, electrical panels and cabinets according to the standard specified by the customer. The drawing material is produced either by Scanmatic's engineers, in collaboration with the customer or is handed over completely by the customer. Advantages of Scanmatic include a close connection between production and the engineering departments for efficient troubleshooting and change handling, as well as good purchasing conditions at the largest equipment manufacturers. Technology A good example of Scanmatic's expertise in this field is our delivery to an unmanned loading buoy that will be connected to an FPSO on an oil field in West Africa. For this buoy, Scanmatic supplied systems for anchor line monitoring and PIG detection, assembly of hydraulic racks and control cabinets, as well as electrical cabling and assembly of the control container which is operated on battery with solar cells and communicates via radio link with the FPSO.

MONITORING
Scanmatic uses cutting-edge expertise in sensor technology, data processing and data communication to design and deliver instrumentation and communication solutions for the fishing and aquaculture industry. Our solutions are mostly in instrumentation and sensor technology, and we deliver a wide range of solutions and services in product development, system integration, SCADA systems, control systems, data communication and data collection. Current supply in aquaculture: • Monitoring • Data collection and communication • Control • Stations • Temperature, humidity, air pressure, • Metering • Water Quality Measurements • Flow Measurements • gyro, accelerometers, inclinometers • Load Measurements of mooring lines • Measuring angle, depth and movement of the anchor lines and underwater structures • Camera systems above and below water • PLC programming • Regulators • Panel construction • Installation Scanmatic has extensive experience in project implementation, and through good routines and an established quality system, projects are carried out in a safe and secure manner. We follow at all times the norms and rules that apply to the industry in connection with project implementation and deliveries. Our subsidiary ITAS Scanmatic Instrument Technology also supplies sensor systems to the aquaculture industry.

MOORING LINE INTEGRITY MONITORING
Scanmatic uses its cutting-edge expertise in underwater instrumentation, data collection, communication and system integration in the deliveries of systems for monitoring anchor lines and other underwater infrastructure. Scanmatic's involvement in this field started with a challenge from one of our customers to develop a more robust inclinometer solution than was available on the market. An inclinometer is mounted on the anchor line to measure its angle and detect a line break. Especially the cables that cross the moving area between the FPSO / load buoy and the inclinometer were exposed to a lot of wear and damage. Scanmatic developed a new system with integrated cable protection that significantly reduces the likelihood of cable failure. In addition to sensors for monitoring loads and angles, a delivery of a Scanmatic anchorage monitoring system includes subsea cables, cable protection, solutions for routing cables through e.g. pipes using special flanges, subsea connectors that can be replaced by divers or ROVs, junction boxes and data collection cabinets, signal conversion and data integration solutions and topside presentation and alarm handling solutions. An example of a delivery is presented here: Mooring Line Monitoring in the Gulf of Mexico. Scanmatic has also developed a solution for detecting line breaks that do not require a cable over the dynamic range, but which use proximity sensors to read a code plate mounted on the anchor line to determine its angle. Read more about this solution here: Mooring Line Monitoring - Proximity Switch. Scanmatic's latest solution has received a lot of attention. It uses small sensors that measure angle, depth or motion, and transmits this information wirelessly using hydroacoustics (sound in water). The solution is very cost-effective compared to existing wireless solutions and can be retrofitted to existing installations in simpler ways. Scanmatic considers this solution to be a "game changer" in this field. Read more about the solution here: Acoustic Subsea Monitoring. In 2019, the wireless solution was retrofitted to an FPSO in the North Sea. See here for more information about that delivery.

OFFLOADING HOSE INSPECTION SYSTEM
Application To prevent oil spills, it is essential that the hoses used to unload oil from a platform to a cargo ship are not damaged. Scanmatic delivers systems that the platform workers themselves can use to carry out inspections of the hose, inside and out, to detect cracks and deformations. Technology The systems are adapted to the relevant installation and the projects are typically carried out in close collaboration with the supplier of the unloading system itself. Scanmatic's delivery typically consists of an ATEX-approved underwater camera for internal inspection in the hose, 2 - 400 m subsea cable, ATEX-approved winch, junction boxes, cabling, connectors, control cabinet and workstation with joystick.
