CRANE CONTROL
CMS 3.0 is an InControl product. The operator terminal is based on a Pro-face TFT touch MMI (Man Machine Interface). The PLC is Allen Bradley based. The MMI displays all relevant information for the operator on the Main Screen. The top and bottom fields of the screens are standard for all screens and contain important real-time information. Buttons for screen navigation are incorporated in the bottom. The bar graphs visualize the numeric displays and adjust real-time to the movement of the Jib and the current Load Chart.

TELECOM SHUTDOWN
PLC based system We have developed and deployed a PLC based system for Telecom Shutdown in hazardous areas and situations both on offshore rigs and land based Oil&Gas related industry. The system has been successfully deployed on two BP platforms, Lomond and Bruce. Shut down telecom lines Main functionality is to totally shut down all telecom lines in case of fire or gas alarm. The lines are also constantly monitored to ensure that the system is operational at all times.

TRAWL SOLUTIONS
AmiTrawl is designed to monitor and control the trawl winches during all phases of trawling. It displays and monitors length, speed and tension for wires. The system consists of a main PLC and a remote PLC. The remote PLC is located on the bridge. It collects signals from the push buttons and joysticks on the operator’s panel and sends control signals to the main PLC. The main PLC receives signals from the transmitters and the proximity switches connected to the winches. The data from the main PLC is displayed on a Panel View. Length and speed are measured with proximity sensors attached to the winches. Measurements of the tension use the relationship between load in a wire and the natural frequency of vibration.

Weather Monitoring System – WMS The Weather Monitoring System is designed to provide information for helicopter landing, and to meet aviation and international guidelines. This system is configurable to national standards for the UK and in Norway.
