Company information

Southern Marine was established in 1979. Today we are located in Kristiansand, Norway and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Our main activities are inspection & certification of lifting devices, service & calibration of gas measuring equipment and 3rd party inspections in connection with load out / load off operations, purchase / sale of vessels, H&M / P&I survey.

Southern Marine shall be a leading supplier of products and services developed with the aim to maintain and improve safety at sea. 

We have implemented a quality management system based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. In addition to managing the group companies, Southern Marine provides:
