AIRPURGE EQUIPMENT

Installation methods with valve cabinet installed lower than the highest tank level requires a Non-Retun valve on the measuring pipe.
XTronica has designed our own Non-Return valve for easy installation outside the tank.

Bulkhead penetration coupling and fastening clamps also available.

BULKHEAD CABLE GLAND

The cable bulkhead fitting type XBG10 and XBG25 is used for cabling of transmitter and signal cables through bulkheads and decks without causing any leakage.

Limited to a pressure of 15 bar and between gas safe and gas dangerous areas.

LEVEL ALARM SYSTEMS

Based on years of experience working with maritime level gauging, XTronica offers a simple solution to level sounding in tanks onboard ships.

The basic system consists of a volume chamber, capillary pipe and a pressure indicator. The volume chamber is connected to a pressure indicator through a capillary pipe. When the tank liquid rises the air will be compressed in the volume chamber and a counter pressure will prevent the liquid to go into the capillary pipe.
The static pressure in the system will now be the same as the liquid column in the tank. This construction ensures that the gauge not will be in touch with the tank fluid.

Can be delivered with scale in level and/or volume according to tank tables.

Delivered ready for mounting with stainless steel capillary pipe with flexible protection between volume chamber and pressure indicator. Class approved (DNV).

LEVEL SWITCHES

For indication and alarm purposes of level or overflow protection in tanks and bilges, float switches are widely used. Float and level switches have a simple design and are very reliable in operation. XTronica can offer various types of switches meeting the requested requirements.

PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS

Pressure measurements are used in various applications onboard ships where pressure is directly measured in the process.
Pressure transmitters are also widely used for measurement of level in service and ballast tanks. Having a long experience within instrumentation for ships, XTronica has specified a range of pressure transmitters for marine applications.

RADAR SENSORS

Radar sensors are mostly used in applications where non-contactaccurate level measurement of liquids is required. Two types of radars are today used in maritime applications, frequency-modulated,continuous wave (FMCW) radar technology and pulse radar, both types are combining advanced signal processing for maximum performance. A high signal-to-noise ratio combined with the high frequency provides superior results in level measurement on liquids.
