West Marine - HS-Marine Cranes. West Marine AS supplies and is servicing cranes from HS Marine which has more than 15 years experience with marine crane fabrication. We can deliver cranes covering any requirement within shipping and offshore industry. Also onshore the cranes can be used for many purposes. As something very special we can deliver yacht cranes for pleasure craft. These cranes are designed so they cannot be seen when they are not in use.

EMERGENCY FIRE-PUMPS
West Marine - Portable Emergency Fire Pumps. Portable lightweight emergency fire Pumps “West Marine SRG 104 NSP”. The pumps are manufactured on our own workshop and approved by the Danish Maritime Authority. Pump and frame are stainless steel. Capacity 25 m3 per hour, 2.6 bar. Fitted with priming device. The total weight of 50 kg makes the pump easy to handle. West Marine also supplies powerful bilge pumps and emergency fire pumps with up to 50 m3 capacity, 5 bar. Pump and frame in stainless steel, see right photo. These pumps are also manufactured on our own workshop.

LINE THROWING APPARATUS
West Marine - PLT Pneumatic Line Thrower Air driven line throwing equipment has many advantages including high safety. Explosion proof, no sparks or flames make PLT suitable for use in environments with flammable liquids or gasses. The floatable projectiles can be re-loaded and used again. The equipment works very precisely even in strong crosswind. The costs are low as the line thrower is re-loaded with compressed air. Furthermore there is no expiring date or transportation limitations. Depending on the PLT model lines with different equipment such as a hook or an inflatable life buoy can be thrown out to distances between 30 and 230 m.

MOB BOATS

OPERATOR CHAIRS
West Marine - NorSap wheelhouse chairs. NorSap supplies a broad variety of wheelhouse chairs. All requirements regarding functionality, size, seat cover and fastening can be met. Deck rails can be supplied. The chairs may have fixed or adjustable height. PIPE COUPLINGS
Norma Pipecouplings. NORMA Connect pipecouplings connect easy and simple pipelines for liquid gas, liquid substances and fatty substances. Norma couplings are used by construction business, shipyards and water technique. NORMA Connect pipecouplings have a very efficient and reinforced sealing system. NORMA pipecouplings are used for thin and thick pipes. They are time-saving compared to conventional pipe couplings. NORMA couplings can be used for plastic and metal. NORMA Connect complies with the new DIN standard 86128, and they have Lloyd's and DNV certificate.

PUMPS
- West Marine is the importer of the well-known Azcue pumps. Azcue is a family business based in Spain. The factory was founded in 1910 and is now run by the fourth generation of the family. Azcue manufacturers pumps for the marine market as well as for the land based industry. The pumps are of very high quality and the prices are reasonable. It is not unusual that we can deliver bronze pumps at the normal price of cast iron pumps. The programme includes centrifugal pumps, screw spindle pumps and gear pumps. Furthermore Azcue can supply tube radiators. We assist with finding the right pump for the purpose and we carry out service and repairs of existing pumps. - West Marine - E-Jet Pumps. West Marine can supply acid resistant stainless steel centrifugal pumps. The pumps are prevented from damages cause by dry running or closed valve. RESCUE SLINGS
West Marine - SULA Rescue Sling. SULA rescue sling is extremely efficient and simple to use in man-over-board (MOB) situations. The weight of the rescue sling is only 3 kg, and one person can operate it. The rescue is very useful in sea pilot vessels, patrol vessels, minor ferries, passenger vessels and fishing vessels. The rescue sling makes it possible to reach a person in the water up to 7 metres away. You catch the victim with the rescue sling, release a strap and tighten it around the person. The strap is fastened to a simple crane, which is used to recover the person in the water. The system can be used during most weather conditions. Norwegian and Danish rescue vessels, sea pilot vessels, and naval units use the rescue sling.

SAFETY NETS
West-Marine - Kopas Rescue Net. West Marine has developed a new rescue net for rescue and recovering of persons from the sea to a MOB boat or a fast rescue boat. The net is secured in the boat. When rescuing a person the net is rolled into the water. It is designed with flotation along the edges. In the middle of the net weights are fitted so a cradle is formed under the surface. In this way it is easy to take the victim into boat. Because of rolls on the net there is almost no friction. The net is designed so it does not harm the victim.

STRETCHERS
West Marine - Stretcher. West Marine hoisting stretcher has been developed to transport injured personnel within the maritime environment. It is developed in co-operation with surgeon commander H. O. Bisgaard-Frantzen, The Danish Navy special forces. - The stretcher can be stored folded in a rucksack making it easy to stow and transport. - With the stretcher kept in the rucksack the paramedics can easily bring it in position to assist the injured person. - The stretcher can be assembled and mad ready for use very quickly ensuring efficient fixation of the patient. - The lifting straps are designed to hoist the stretcher horizontally, vertically or in an angle of 45 degrees making it possible to recover persons from narrow spaces. - In water the inflatable bags will turn the stretcher around with the patient’s face up and keep it floating. - The stretcher is equipped with a neoprene hood, and an efficient spray-hood enhancing the chances for survival and preventing the patient from chilling.

THRUSTERS
West Marine - HRP Propeller Systems. HRP thruster systems include a number of different propeller solutions. They are all characterized by durability, advanced technique and power variation between 125 kW to 1500 kW. The systems comprise for example 360 degrees controllable propeller unit, deck mounted retracktable azimuth propeller. Tunnel mounted propeller and well mounted retracktable propeller.

WATERJET UNITS
West Marine - Hamilton Water Jet. West Marine A/S is authorized agent and service centre for Hamilton Jet in Denmark, Greenland and the Faeroe Islands. The first Hamilton water jet vessel was presented in 1954. Since then Hamilton has had the leading position as water jet manufacturer. Hamilton water jet is the preferred propulsion system in a number of vessels where high performance, outstanding manouverability, shallow water operations and reasonable maintenance costs are required. Worldwide more than 30,000 Hamilton water jet systems are installed in different vessel types such as pilot vessels, patrol vessels, fast passenger ferries, fire fighting vessels, fishing vessels, landing craft, man over board (MOB) boats and fast rescue craft (FRC). It is a pleasure for West Marine A/S to assist with design and purchase of new water jet systems, and we are prepared to offer service and repairs of existent water jet systems. We have great experience with installation, servicing and repairs of all kind of water jets.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS
West Marine - SPEICH nautic. Since Speich got the patent for their first windscreen wiper in 1938 they have produced systems, which meet the highest requirements regarding reliability and durability. Windscreen wipers can be supplied for all purposes within the maritime environment. They can be tailor-made to any size and shape of the windows. Conventional blade wipers as well as clearview screens can be supplied. All external components are manufactured from corrosion resistant materials as brass, bronze and stainless steel. The programme also include accessories as heating elements, speed and interval control and washing systems – all controlled by logical designed control panels.
