Founded in 1979 and based south of Oslo in the port city of Larvik, Norway, Transtech is literally geared for industry. Transtech began by addressing the market of Norway's growing industry. Though the market remained strong, it was soon apparent that the standard product selection alone was not enough to satisfy demand. Frequent requests from our customers to have modifications made to their orders grew to justify establishing our own "in-house" engineering department where our custom designs could gain serious traction. Our continued success is credited to the "hands on" approach we give to every one of our customers. Our mix of standard components and custom-made solutions provides our customers with the expertise they expect from a reliable and experienced supplier.
