ANODE HOISTS

Transtech specializes in extensive lifting mechanisms for the aluminum industry and offers equipment that can handle loads up to 40 tonnes.

Our product range includes permanently fixed as well as spherical jacks with attached hoisting systems (bevel/wormgears, electrically insulated flexible couplings, intermediate shafts, electric motors, etc.). All components are manufactured to meet today's demands for quality control; they are of the highest quality as a result of modern production methods and are housed within a sealed system. We have reduced the maintenance of our equipment to a minimum, even when used in environments with extremely high current and excessive amounts of dust (aluminum oxide).

Our fixed jacks are of sturdy construction that compensates for radial forces and rough handling. In using the spherical jack system, however, it is advisable to take care of the spherical bearing nut and spindle to avoid bending forces that can cause additional friction between them.

BRAKE EQUIPMENT

Air Brakes
Transtech offers a comprehensive range of high-quality air brakes in many different sizes, with torque capacities up to 1576 Nm.

Some of these brakes are available in "negative design," meaning spring applied, pressure release (or in some cases, hydraulically activated).

Disc Brakes
Our brake manufacturer produces industrial brakes using advanced brake technology. With over 40 years of experience in design, production and selection of the best braking solutions, we can offer a wide range of brakes from 150 N to over 270 000 N of braking force

Electromagnetic Brakes
Our electromagnetic brakes are the "fail safe" type, meaning they are spring applied and release when the power is switched on.

CLUTCHES

Hydraulic Clutches
Our hydraulic clutches are available with integrated reduction or step-up transmissions including adapters for most hydraulic motors. The clutch version with a free output shaft is intended for separate mounting and is available with the same options.

Mechanical Clutches
Our mechanical clutches are available in two different versions. The version with an SAE-housing has been specially designed to suit any industrial engine equipped with flywheel and flywheel housing with SAE Dimensions

Mechanical Torque Limiting Clutches
Our mechanical torque limiting clutches provide accurate, reliable overload protection for all types of machinery and equipment.

Pneumatic Clutches
We offer a comprehensive and well designed range of pneumatic clutches in different styles and sizes.

A primary feature of some of our clutches is the transmission of power through the side walls of the flexible neoprene and cord actuating tube. With this version, it is often unnecessary to use an additional flexible coupling.

COUPLINGS

Curved-tooth Couplings
Maina offers a broad range of curved-tooth couplings, spindle couplings and universal shafts. Curved-tooth couplings are available for torque from 0.1 kNm (shaft from Ø15 mm) to 15 600 kNm (shaft to Ø1180 mm).

Disc Couuplings
Our range of robust, high quality flexible steel-disc couplings are used in today's most demanding applications. They are maintenance-free and provide good compensation for parallel, angular and axial deviation.

Flywheel Couplings
The ARCUSAFLEX coupling is a highly flexible flywheel coupling with an axial plug-in facility, providing a torsionally soft connection between an internal combustion engine and a driven machine.

Safety Couplings
We offer a vast selection of safety couplings. Our slip hubs are a friction-type torque limiter that provide reliable overload protection at low cost. By utilizing high quality friction material, they are a simple, efficient and accurate method of setting the overload torque. 

Shrink-fit Couplings
Shrink-fit couplings can be mounted easily and without any damages, different from thermally jointed or otherwise jointed frictional connections. The clearance-fit between shaft and hub-disc ensures easy mounting.

Steel Bellows Couplings
The success of the servo motor and its increasing use in drives of all kinds has set new requirements for couplings. 

In a majority of applications, couplings must provide a torsional rigid and backlash-free connection between motor shaft and output shaft (i.e. ball screw drives).
